Climate Change Mitigation

Efforts to reduce or prevent emissions of greenhouse gases by using renewable energies such as solar wind and hydro electricity, or increasing the efficiency of older machinery or equipment, or using technologies to reduce the consumption of energy/ resources are ways to mitigate Climate Change. It can be made by a government decision to create entire cities with such technologies or even just changing your light bulb or using solar water heaters in your own homes.

My main endeavor in my profession is to provide every individual access to the technologies from the very basic solutions of LED lighting to very complex solutions of reducing air conditioning costs, or water heating with solar or even more advanced thermal solutions.

Being able to operate a business with full focus on that business is extremely essential for the growth of that business, regardless of the industry. My work along with my team is complement business owners in letting them continue focus on their work whilst providing them a one stop solution for going completely green and being responsible for the environment, reducing their overall carbon footprint and saving time and money in the process.

An organization can take a small step at a time and achieve a great deal of energy saving if the plan of action is right. For example if a Hotel that takes its first step by changing it lights to LED lights can save at least 90% of its energy consumed by lighting alone, and just by adding in sensor based technology they can further reduce that energy by another 50%.

By Setting up a real time energy monitoring systems, a range of issues can be identified such as over use of energy faulty machinery and even energy leaks. Identifying the issues can result in immediate energy saving and in many cases 30% and more.

Water heating solutions were traditionally by electrical calorifiers, Gas Boilers and then heat exchangers and heat pumps with advanced technologies were introduced to further reduce energy consumed. By switching to Solar Based water heaters 50% or more energy can be being saved compared to traditional water heaters. We have identified and implemented thermal solutions to further reduce the consumption of energy and save another 50% from even solar water heaters and up to 90% energy saving from electrical systems or Gas boilers.

The reality is the climate is changing at a pace that was never expected to in the last 50- 100 years that it never did in the last 6000 years put together.

Major consumption of energy

Major consumption of energy in hotter environments like the middle east is factored to HVAC systems, we have multiple solutions for Air conditioning systems that can be implemented such as sensor based technology and removal of oil fouling from HVAC systems that can directly reduce the energy consumed and increase efficiency by over 10% which is a big difference considering the amount of energy used by the consumer.

Climate change will most likely have adverse implications to where people can settle, build cities or even grow food. Rise in Sea Levels are already putting Ecosystems under major stress and equally affecting the human well being.

We as an organization wish to provide the simple and yet very effective ways to individuals and organizations to reduce their energy consumed and increase the efficiency of their equipment’s consuming energy, also increasing the lifespan and reducing waste, and not to mention reducing cost/increasing the savings.

A step from every individual and organization will truly be able to reverse the effects of climate change and reduce carbon emissions.
